Phi Phi Islands Dive Sites

Phi Phi Islands are possibly the most famous of all the islands in Thailand, made famous in 1999 with the release of the movie The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Then on Boxing Day 2004 the Tsunami almost destroyed the island completely, yet today Phi Phi islands are back to their beautiful best.

If you can conjure up in your mind an image of the perfect beach, where you could just disappear on those wet and rainy days at home then this is surely the place.

Easily the most photographed beach in the country, possibly the world, Maya Bay is the epitome of the idyllic beach setting.

Phi Phi is a group of six paradise Islands, which are made from steep limestone walls that strut vertically out of the Andaman Sea. The beaches surrounding the islands are white sand and the small bays around the islands are heavenly.

Phi Phi also has twenty dive sites that attract divers from all over simply because the marine life is wonderful. You can find Turtles, Black Tip Sharks, Leopards Sharks, Nurse Sharks.

Whale sharks come by as well as do Manta Rays, Great Barracudas, Trevallies, Seahorses, Pipefish -in fact, you will be hard pushed to find dive sites so close to land so good anywhere else in the country.

Phi Phi Islands truly are magical and once you have been here you will be hooked.
